Hi Everyone! I'm praying that you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and remembered to thank God for your blessings!
Enlisted is gearing up for the Smoky Mountain Getaway, December 2nd, 3rd & 4th. This is a fun filled weekend with our friends The Shadrix as the host group, along with several other Southern Gospel Groups. Enlisted looks forward to this weekend because not only do we minister, we get ministered to.
DOOR OF GRACE Accompaniment tracks are now available!! We've had so many requests for these tracks and they're finally here! We are including FREE SHIPPING with your order through the month of November. You will receive all 10 tracks for only $25! This also includes the lyrics!
Remember the reason for the season that is upon us and I encourage you to get alone with God and thank Him for the best gift of all, His Son Jesus Christ. Without Him, there is no CHRISTmas!
Blessings to you all!
Pam

Well, we're right slap dab in the middle of summer and if you're like me, you've been sweating alot! We recently sang in Anniston, AL at Christian Corner Meats, in the middle of the day, OUTSIDE! Allow me to share:
When I was first contacted by Debbie Young, the owner of Christian Corner Meats, I was a little hesitant about singing outside in the middle of July. She shared with me that the Lord had laid it on her heart to have this singing in the parking lot of her and her husband's (David) business. She wanted to reach out to the public that normally didn't go to church, but would come and listen to gospel music in a parking lot. She was nervous that no one would come, but she prepared for the day and was obedient to what God was telling her to do.
We arrived at 10:00 a.m. (CST) and there was a huge white tent set up with around 20 chairs underneath. There were two big industrial fans underneath the tent, funeral home fans (that's what I call them) in every seat, and coolers of ice cold water sitting everywhere. Hot dogs were being cooked and onions were being chopped. Yes, they were giving away hot dogs, chips and drinks for everybody that came! The guys started unloading equipment, Debbie Mitchell and I started setting up the product table, and the sweat was on. The humidity was so thick that my hair had NO chance of standing up and praising Jesus.
It was in the high 90's and there was no relief in sight. New Desire was the featured group for this event and they were all as hot as we were. As the noon hour approached, New Desire kicked off the singing with a vengeance. The Spirit fell on them and hovered around in that tent and in that parking lot. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Holy Spirit was drawing people into that parking lot and under that tent. The place started filling up, Debbie and David (the owners) began putting out more chairs, and the worship was on! New Desire sang while filled with the Spirit and I was blessed beyond measure. I sat there in that 90 plus degree weather while being ministered to and forgot all about being hot. By this time, there were so many people around that people were taking turns sitting under the tent. Some brought their lawn chairs, others stood in the sun and some sat in their vehicles. God was drawing the people!
It was Enlisted's time to sing and I can't tell you the blessing we received. Seeing people come (that had probably never been in a church) and stand there for hour after hour listening the Good News of Jesus Christ in song, was the most awesome sight we've seen in a while. I know that seeds were planted and I know that God will water those seeds and bring the increase.
As far as the hot weather and humidity, this is my thought: If Jesus could be beaten, scourged, mocked, carry a heavy cross to Calvary, suffer the agony, pain and humiliation of being nailed to that cross, bleed every drop of precious blood for MY sins so that I could live in paradise with Him when I die, then I can sweat and be a little uncomfortable for HIM.
Lord, please forgive me for complaining when circumstances aren't what I wish they would be. Nothing compares to the pain and suffering that You endured while thinking of me.
Thank you Debbie and David Young for allowing us to experience the true joy of ministry. You are perfect examples of the Bible verse: Luke 14:23: “Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
May Enlisted always keep sight in knowing that "IT'S NOT ABOUT ME, IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU, IT'S ABOUT THE HOLY FATHER, SPIRIT AND SON", and never think that we're above suffering for the cause of Christ.
Blessings to you all!
Pam

Hello all of you Enlisted friends!
We have had a great month so far, Joey and Lauren celebrated their 3rd Wedding Anniversary in Seagrove, Florida. Yes, this is the place where Joey purposed and also where they were married! My how time flies!
Enlisted has some exciting dates coming up. June 18th we will be joining Heartfelt at the Community Center in Rockmart, GA, for a benefit singing. This singing is for Stacey Carter and her family. A love offering will be taken and all proceeds from that love offering will go to Stacey and her family for expenses incurred while she was hospitalized. As most of you know, a couple of years ago, Stacey was Enlisted's soprano singer. Please be much in prayer for her and her family while she is recovering.
July will be a very busy and exciting month! We'll be singing with our friends, New Desire and Wilburn & Wilburn, and we'll be going to one of our favorite places, New Beginning Church and Ms. Virginia's in Forsyth, GA.
We're VERY excited about a concert July 23rd at Victory Baptist Church. As most of you probably know, our home church, Victory Baptist is in the process of collecting funds for the beginning phase of our new sanctuary. We are literally busting out at the seams, so we must have $250,000.00 to begin construction. Joey came up with a great idea of having a singing at Victory, using Victory's talented singers and musicians and calling it "Voices of Victory" concert. We have 2 other groups besides Enlisted that make Victory their home church and they are "The Barkers" and " Heirborn's Bass Singer", Greg Gober. If you've ever been to Victory on a typical Sunday morning service, you've probably heard singing from Evelyn Haskins, DeAnna Williams, Denton Waits, Connie Haskins, Davina Williams, Nikki Shaw, Chris Barker, and I could go on and on. Joey's idea of having a concert with Enlisted, The Barkers, Heirborn and The Victory Choir, (led by David Williams) will come to pass on July 23rd. You can't find any better talent than these folks at Victory. They are anointed, Spirit filled singers that will bless your socks off! This concert is FREE and a love offering will be taken. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE BUILDING FUND. You don't want to miss this one!
We'll also be singing with The Nelons at Collar Park on July 30th at 7pm. Wow! We can't wait! My Dad worked on The Nelon's bus back in the 70's when Rex, Karen Peck and Kelly were keeping the roads hot. They've spent several hours in our yard waiting for Daddy to work his magic on their bus.
As you can see that's just a few of Enlisted's stops for the month of July. Please keep up with our schedule and come see us!
Also, keep Enlisted in your prayers. We just want to spread the Best News and that's Jesus!
It's all about HIM,
Pam

I hope this update finds all of you in good health, joyful and looking for Jesus to come back!
Just a few updates: We got our bus, "Sarge" back and he's ready to roll! We're so thankful to State Farm Insurance for their help and wonderful customer service along with Travis Warren and TLW Equipment Services for making the repairs. God always turns a bad thing into a good thing!
We are amazed at how God is using our new songs from our recent project, "Door of Grace". We are humbled when people contact us or speak to us after a concert and tell us how much a song has ministered to them and encouraged them. We have also had churches and pastors to adopt the song, "It's Not About Me" as their theme song! Praise the Lord!
On personal notes, Debbie got a haircut, I'm letting my grow longer, Joey and Lauren are about to celebrate their 3 year wedding anniversary, (no I still don't have any grandbabies, but I do have a grandpup, Zella), David is still wide open as a goober hull (as my Daddy use to say), and Jeff is still as laid back as a leaf on a lake early in the morning.
Enlisted hopes to see you soon. We are still taking bookings for this year, so give us a call!
Blessings,
Pam

Some of you may not know that "Sarge" our bus caught on fire January 22nd. The fire started in the generator and totally destroyed 2 bays. The estimated damage so far is $28,000.00. Thank God it wasn't a total loss. Hopefully, repairs will begin this week and we're hoping the repairs will be finished within 30-45 days. We appreciate all of the emails, texts, and phone calls that we've received regarding your concern.
We'll be using our trailer to haul our equipment until the bus is repaired. It'll be like the "old" days when we first started out pulling a trailer with Joey's truck.
Thanks again for your prayers and concern and remember, God always takes a bad situation and turns it around for good.
It's all about Him,
Pam
Enlisted is thrilled to announce that their lastest project, "Door of Grace" is now available. This project is getting rave reviews from listeners from all over the country. Enlisted credits God for any and all success that this project receives.
Seven out of the ten songs were written by Pam including "Door of Grace". Enlisted is thrilled over the response from the funny, yet convicting song, "It's Not About Me". Several churches have adopted this song as their theme song!
We are excited about how God is using Enlisted and looking forward to see what He's doing in 2011.
We are currently taking bookings for 2011 and 2012.
Jesus may be close in taking us to heaven in the year of 2011. ARE YOU READY?
David, Debbie, Joey, & Pam
